Shuttar does not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards explain the content and behaviour that are prohibited on Shuttar, how to report a concern, and how we respond to reports involving a child or suspected exploitation.
Draft for publication review. Before this page is used as a final public or store-linked policy, confirm the legal entity, that the external child-safety contact below is monitored, the escalation owner, response targets, and applicable reporting authorities.

1. Zero tolerance for child exploitation
Shuttar prohibits any content or behaviour that sexually abuses, exploits, endangers, or sexualises a child. This includes:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including requests for, offers of, trading in, or links to that material.
- Grooming, sexual solicitation, or attempts to build a sexual relationship with a child.
- Sexual exploitation, trafficking, coercion, blackmail, or encouragement of a child to create or share sexualised content.
- Sexualised comments, messages, captions, profiles, or other interactions involving a child.
- Attempts to move a child-safety violation to another service or to evade Shuttar's safety controls.
We also prohibit threats, harassment, doxxing, impersonation, or other behaviour that puts a child at risk. These rules apply to posts, comments, direct messages, profiles, Groups, shared links, and any other Shuttar surface.
2. Reporting a child-safety concern
If you see content or behaviour that may involve CSAE:
- Use the report action on the relevant post or profile as soon as possible.
- Use Shuttar's in-app Support flow to provide additional safety context or report a concern when a post or profile action is not available.
- Include the username, content location, and a short description of the concern. Do not download, copy, or forward suspected CSAM.
Reports are handled privately and shared only with people who need the information to review and respond. If a child may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement as well.
If you cannot access the app, email the current external child-safety contact: whayblueteam@gmail.com.
3. Review and enforcement
We prioritise reports involving children or suspected exploitation. Depending on the circumstances, Shuttar may:
- Remove content or disable access to a post, profile, Group, or message.
- Restrict features, suspend an account, or permanently ban an account.
- Preserve relevant information when needed for safety, legal process, or an investigation.
- Escalate a concern to law enforcement or another appropriate authority when required by law or necessary to protect a child.
We do not disclose the identity of a reporter or confidential moderation details except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to respond to the concern. We may be unable to share the outcome of a report, but a lack of an immediate visible response does not mean that a report was ignored.
4. Cooperation and prevention
Shuttar cooperates with lawful requests from relevant authorities and takes reasonable steps to prevent repeat abuse of the service. We may use reports, account information, and service records to investigate safety concerns, enforce these standards, and protect the community.
People must not misuse the reporting system, retaliate against someone who reports a concern, or attempt to interfere with a safety review.
5. Contact and updates
The designated Shuttar safety team can be reached through the in-app Support flow or at whayblueteam@gmail.com for people who cannot use the app. This address must be monitored for child-safety reports.
We review these standards as the service and applicable requirements change. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a new date.
